have the ulefone power, was hoping to run a usb camera off the otg but cant get any app to work the cam have tried most....anyone have any ideas please

Could be Ulefone Power doesn't have UVC (USB video class) drivers for the device. Are you connecting through an OTG cable connected to the phone? Or directly plugging the device in?
Have you tried other OTG devices with the phone, like a mouse?

yes using the otg cable...other devices mouse/kboard work ok.
My guess is that this isn't something easy to fix. The phone is probably lacking the drivers for UVC USB video class, or it's missing specific drivers for that specific camera. It's also possible that the OTG isn't putting enough power out to power the camera.
Are you getting anything at all?
There is an OTG app on in the app store that will show you a device ID. I can't remember which one at the moment, it's one of the top ones when you search "otg checker". You can see if it's at least communicating with the phone at all.
