A few pics in good lighting from the Xiaomi Mi5 camera Sony IMX298. Pictures unedited. The crops are from 16MP images set at standard quality. All images saved at 75%. Click the pop-out button to see them at 1280.

Both the full scene images and the crops look very good with realistic color, appropriate sharpness, and good detail. The entire frame is quite sharp with no obvious blurring at the corners/edges.

Will have some low light images coming up in this thread as well.

Xiaomi Mi5 camera Sony IMX298 HDR

Here is are a couple of beautiful handheld HDR shot from the Mi5. I think many standalone cameras would have trouble producing a shot such as this straight out of the camera (SOOC). The pictures are unedited except for reduced to 1280, saved at 80% and uploaded to imgur.com (imgur.com may compress further).

Note: Focus point is on the bright clouds in all pics.

Good job by IMX298. First shot is non-HDR... looking good and shows the storm is coming. HDR shots are looking great.
