Ciao Cleopatra , abbiamo Papa . Grazie Smiling

Finally , it worked, not without a few more wickups.

Win 7 didn't work. Tryed on Win 10, didn't work. Search for legacy drivers to be installed on Win 10 and found this page:

After the instalation, following the instructions to the letter, the flash tool worked like a charm and i finally saw my HomTom HT3 coming to live.

Thanks again

Miguel

Habemus Papam ! Congratulations Smiling
Now you are ready to install the TWRP custom recovery ... to make periodic full nandroid backups ... and restore them just in case of soft brick of your device (I recommend you to save your backups into your microSD). I will make a twrp for your device ... there is still no twrp for your device (on Needrom in particular) ... I will try to make it ... it will be a test ... I do not guarantee the success ... but I have already made a twrp for the HOMTOM HT3 PRO (please take a look to my tutorial about it here on Chinaphonearena) ... then there should be NO problem ... If something will goes wrong don't worry ... you will be able to flash the stock firmware to restore everything. If you are planning to test my twrp test ... please you let me know about it Smiling
I don't know what a TWRP is... Apple FanBoy at this end Smiling

But if you are going to make one for this device I'm sure Ill give it a go Smiling

In particular please follow the next steps :

1) make sure to do any updates (follow my screenshots).
2) enable the "USB debugging" (follow my screenshots).
3) change into "Media device (MTP)" (follow my screenshots).
4) unlock the bootloader (FUNDAMENTAL) ... follow my "how to".
5) INSTEAD to download the twrp for HT3 PRO (from Needrom) ... please use the TWRP_TEST.rar that I have sent you by private message.
6) follow carefully all the steps in the READ_ME.txt (inside the TWRP_TEST.rar).

If everything will works well ... please take a screenshot of the main screen of TWRP (to take a screenshot, press volume down & power buttons simultaneously).
Please send me the screenshot (PNG pic) by private message.

Thanks for the access Smiling
Hi Cleopatra,

Sorry for the lack of communication.

I had a problem with one of my phones and the HT3 was call to replace it. He is on is new job (as the official phone inside a Taxi) and no longer available for testing or otherwise Smiling

In a fews days I will receive a new one. At that time I will install your TWRP and let you know.
