The Sim 1 port on my q700 with mtk6589, got corrupted but my sim 2 slot works well. I have flashed custom roms that both offer 3g sim switching i. e. I can run 3g from the sim2 slot. The stock rom doesn't have this ability. Both the custom roms resulted in an abnormal battery drain (the "phone idle" category alone resulted in 92 percent of battery usage). The stock is very fluid and doesn't have this problem. So I wanted to ask if there is a way that I can use 3g switch on stock rom? Is there a rooted solution or flashable solution to this?
