Hi all,

I need help again on choosing a new mobile as my old one which was an IUNI U2/U810 has bit the dust (see my post 'Screen replacement help please').

I'd love another phone which has at least the specs of the U2 namely...

A different/odd colour would be nice (mine was green), at least a 4.7" screen size with a maximum of 5.5", great camera picture quality, at least 3gb Ram and 32gb Rom, a fast processing speed, LED notification, pretty fast battery charging and 4g would be nice.

I don't really use it for heavy usage gaming...I had two games when my phone worked which were Crossy Road and Coin Dozer so as you can see it's not wanted to be a mobile Xbox which also means a fairly low SOT time.

As for the $300 max...I'd prefer it nearer the $250 but if there ends up being a perfect replacement then I'd happily go to the 300.

All suggestions will be considered.
Xiaomi redmi note 3 pro (SD650). Just check the bands for your carrier. It has 4G on EE, Vodafone and 3 but not all of O2. About $200. Try and get the Taiwan Special Edition that has Band 20 too if you can. Battery life is excellent 8-10 hours.
Thanks Twotems for your reply.

I was looking at the Redmi as well as the Leeco Letv 1 pro but the lack of 800MHz (bloody o2) is a stumbling block.

I'll keep looking especially keeping my eye on the availability of it having 800MHz Band20.

Like I said the RN3P Taiwan Special Edition has Band 20.
Cheers mate, although I'm not too sure how I'd go about finding the RN3P Taiwan Special. The ones I've seen for sale don't seem to mention that in their blurb!

Buy it. Many people are dying for this version.

Good luck.
It's a very good phone, but I wouldn't spend $280 on it...$100 more just for band 20.

Get the 2GB 16GB for $160 or 3GB 3GB for $180. Unless band 20 is an absolute priority?

Good point. Though it's tough to find the 3GB model for $180. This model also has MM and Band 4 out of the box.

Price has come down a lot. Many shops have 3GB now for $180-190.

That's a steal for what it offers. I'd still pay $269 for the Taiwan one because it's still one of the best phones at that price point too. In fact very few phones below $300 can match it. With genuine worldwide lte and it's a killer.
