Hey everyone, I had soft bricked my phone which is a MTK6592 Cubot X6, I went to needrom downloaded the stock rom for it, and followed all steps to flash it, my phone wasn't even getting detected by the software (SP Flash Tool) after trying and trying and trying to get it to work, few minutes ago it magically detected it in the program, and I saw a red progress bar going up to 100% almost instantly... I stood there for like 17 - 20 minutes and no signs whatsoever of the tool doing anything to the phone also I never saw the device listed in the Device Manager list, so I got desperate and pressed the "Stop" button... tried turning it on and it's now stuck at the boot logo and it's not getting past that...

Let me mention that before getting into this situation I was handling a rootkit which even if I wiped/factory reset the phone it would go back to it's "infected" stage every time and I couldn't get it fixed... So I started deleting all kinds of suspicious processes in the phone and after that and before working with the tool, the phone would turn on normally and booted normally, but then it would just display a black screen with only the battery status showing up, and nothing else... couldn't use the USB because it apparently disabled the system USB detection thing or whatever it makes the USB work...

So now to sum it all up, I keep having those USB problems, I'm working with an USB that's originally from an HTC, and now when I try to remove the battery and plug in the cable, my computer makes the sound as if it has detected the drivers and when I see the Device Manager, I see that there is an entry that says "Others -> Mtk65xx Loader" and then Device Manager suddenly reloads and I hear the sound as if the USB went disconnected...

It's truly sad I haven't got the Stock Rom solution to work with this... seems that the more I dig into it, the more damage I do to the phone, whereas I should be fixing it, not breaking it -.- it's really frustrating, please guys I wish someone could help me on this! would really appreciate it! I will be so grateful...

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi 0xNOP !

You are right ... it is really frustrating.
I propose you 2 different solutions :

1) Try to flash the next TWRP recovery :

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

Then follow the next tutorial (I know it says "twrp 3.0.0.0. or higher" ... but never hurts to try) to flash your stock firmware :

[Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

2) And if that will doesn't works ... try to flash (with TWRP) the next custom roms :

Finally got it to work! everything was working good, except the phone itself since it was semi-bricked apparently it could make it to activate the usb system itself... however I went to SP Flash Tool and instead using only "Download" option only... I used "Format All + Download" ... And then the USB didn't disconnected anymore and then I saw the tool working on it and the progress bars running perfectly! it took like less than 50 seconds to do everything when I saw the big green check mark on my screen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMAZING!! Thanks!
