A new smartphone just in on the Gizbeat radar is the Hero H7500+. While it's not exactly a new phone model, the new version of the H7500 (dubbed H7500+) will contain the MTK6589 quad-core CPU as opposed to the standard H7500's MTK6577.

Beyond that it may be the first MTK6589 to actually ship out to international customers, I'm loving the square-looks, that it's available in black and available at a $200 price point.

It also has a relatively large battery at 2800mA and most retailers are offering this with 2 batteries in the package. Keep in mind some retailers are only shipping with one. This is one way they skim a few extra bucks, by selling the extra battery separate.

The good - it's the cheapest MTK6589 currently up for sale. It may be the first MTK6589 smartphone to be released to international customers. Available in black. Perfect size at 5". It's relatively square. Hero has a decent name, though not spectacular. Big 2800mA battery. Reported by all retailers as having 850 WCDMA.

[/align]The bad - because Hero isn't exactly the most popular of brands and it's sold at a bargain price, don't look forward to ROM updates, custom ROMS or a large fan base to discuss issues.

The preview verdict - this looks like an extremely viable option for those looking for a sub $225 phone now. Here has a decent name and are fairly well reviewed phones, but don't expect to have a large support base or bug updates should any issues arrive.

Do anybody know, does it really made with gorilla 2 glass?
Supplier sent me it with silicone case and screen protector (as in pics).
It doesn't have gorilla 2 glass
It's not too good... Lying sale. And any other type of scratch resistant glass?
It does not matter what glass the phone has as long as you can get a screen protector for free. I just installed mine and then forget about the glass and if it is scratch proof or not.

I know from owning a Samsung Galaxy Nexus what it means to have some scratch protective coating, I managed to scratch that silly curved glass with the zipper of my leather jacket. This is how well protected that Samsung super phone is.

And with the compatibility of the Zopo ZP810 model, you will always find additional replacement screen protectors.

Besides, there are also people that can scratch even the most scratch resistive phone screen, it is okay to have it but it is also okay to have something else and a screen protector attached to it Smiling.
