I did not see the option to change the home launcher in settings.
This how I fixed it
1. Settings > Apps > 3 dot menu (top right) > Freeme OS Lite > Open by default > Clear defaults
2. Open your 3rd party launcher by tap its icon or from Play
Next time you hit the Home button, you should get asked which launcher to use. The second time around you should be able to set it as default.
This launcher choice remains even after reboot.
