Hi;
I have a Chinese clone Samsung Galaxy s4 I9500,

after trying to remove a adware and doing factory reset few times, by accident I did clear eMMC, Now the mobile is in Chinese.
Now I Have no idea how to get it back to english.

anyway to restore it back? or it is Gone.
is it possible to find a ROM in English for it?

I don't have a backup of the ROM.

appreciate your help on this.

I guess I got lucky,
I got it back to English.
from another place I got a solution, for some people who may have the same problem,
I dialed:
*#95002#
and mobile restarted and all back to English,
another place posted: #*#94#*# but did not work for me,

but I am still looking for ROM for my mobile, because there is adware in it that I can not get rid of it.

Thank you for posting your solution for getting to English.

To remove the adware you will probably need to root, or as you said, find a custom ROM.

The problem with clones is that it sometimes can be difficult to find the correct ROM because there are so many of them.

To even flash the ROM, you will need a TWRP custom recovery for your phone (though some custom ROMs are flashed using SP Flash Tool).
