Fairly sure Redmi 4 Pro is set to steal the Innos D6000 crown. An incredible accomplishment given the 4000mAh battery in comparison to the Innos D6000 w/6000mAh, and well beyond any other 4000mAh battery we've tested.

In comparison, the 4000mAh Redmi Note 3 Pro w/Snapdragon 650 scored 10 hours and change, and the UMi Max / Super / Touch scored about 8-9 hours on the same test.

This big improvement is likely due to Snapdragon 625's 14nm process.

Will know in a short bit whether the Redmi 4 Pro beats out D6000's 14 hour record.

Buy Redmi 4 Prime

I'd be impressed with 14hrs, but pretty sure it will break 12hrs without much difficulty.
Good call Jh1. It did indeed hit 12 hours, and change...

Check it out. An incredible 14.45.

Wow. That's very impressive. Is that still on the reseller rom?

Very impressive.

Yes. On the "shop" ROM. These ROMs are normally made by Xiaomi, just not updatable.

I will likely update mine to the stock Chinese rom this weekend. Curious as to how that will impact battery life and camera performance.
At this point will stick with the ROM it came with. If any major version change comes (eg, MIUI 9), some huge bug fixes come, or official Global, then will reconsider.

I've put a guide for flashing Redmi 4 here: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

Same as the Zuk Z2 guide.

Let me know how it works out for you if you go ahead with it.
Curious if you notice any issues with wifi download speeds. Mine have been disappointing on both the shop ROM and the stock chinese ROM.

How disappointing? I'm getting up to 1.8Mb/s which is about maxing out my connection.

In the past, I've noticed that not having Xunlei accelerator on *seemed* to stunt speeds severely, but I don't see that option in the Global ROM (though haven't looked for it either).

Under 200kb/s regardless of whether xunlei accelerator is turned on or off. It was the same on the shop ROM.
