Does anyone know how to extract the modem.img file from roms? I would like to test several basebands for my phone without flashing it several times. Also is there any way to convert files such as
(ex. BPLGUInfoCustomAppSrcP_MT6589_S00_MOLY_WR8_W1248_MD_WG_MP_V6_P2) into a modem.img file?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, tried all four versions but the only one that provided a signal was the v8 version but still locks up after 15 mins in 3g mode.

Hi all, I know this is an old thread, but I'm bumping it because I'm also very interested in knowing how to extract the modem image file from a ROM (I need this for an unbranded MTK6572 phone without working 3g).

If anyone could offer a simple tutorial I'd be super grateful.
