I was having the same issue with my gps. It worked when first bought but quit working with in a week, I ended up removing the inner cover and in the upper right the two contacts (in the photos above) needed a little tweaking to touch the foil inside the inner cover. Put it all back together and boom! 9 sats inside my house with in less than a minute when before I had none.
