When I hold the volume+ before and after connect, the error will not appear and I see a red bar comming up. When I release the volume button after a several seconds I see on the Phone that the battery is loading. Then the Phone screen turn black. In SP Flash the bar stays red and nothing happen. After I disconnect the Phone I can start the Phone normally.Okay, the VCOM not triggering. Probably too many drivers installed and it's locking onto the wrong one.

Open device manager and see what it says during this flash attempt process. See if at any point there is something like "Android" with exclamation (!) (Before you see battery)

If so, then try to right click on it quickly, select update driver, select browse my computer, select let me pick. Look for adb vcom and select it.

Try to flash again.
I removed all drivers before I installed the one you adviced. Now I see another error: BROM ERROR : STATUS_PRELOADER_INVALID. Undecided

The phone still starts?

If not, hold power button for 30 seconds or until you see it restart. Then power down again and try the flash again.

You're using "Firmware Upgrade", not "Download", right?

Did not work for me. Phone starts up and you see a bar that does not go further than about 25%. After 5 min. you see a laying android on his back with the text "Fault". You have to push the start button for a several seconds to startup the Phone again. Fortunately everything is ok.

This is exactly what happened with me got an error and restarted, i saw someone one Doogee's community forum mentioning that local updates wont work unless you are one the 0621 version or higher, i don't exactly know why this is but if you are on 0617 and want updates the first update MUST be through SP Flash Tool then OTA and Local updates would work fine.

so yeah good luck flashing.
Flashing is easy. Just follow the guide. The preloader error is probably because had it on Download. Need to select Firmware Upgrade.

SP Flash Tool (JUL-2017): [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

Follow this video guide to get the drivers installed and in this video I also flash a file onto Doogee Mix (but, you will choose "Firmware Upgrade", not "Download")

Thank you very much for the report. I will add a note in the top of the thread regarding this. You are the second user to report the problem.

Thanks a lot.
I managed to flash my Doogee mix following this guide.
I had to change the name of the folder because I think it was too long. I also erased all the Chinese characters of the files inside the folder.
Everything went smoothly from there on.
I wasn't quite sure which buttons I had to press when connecting the phone to the computer and recovery appeared on the screen. The characters were so small that I could hardly read them. I think I selected fastboot or something like that. But I pressed the power and volume up button and the flash started to load.
I have now been able to OTA update to the latest firmware available.
I will see how the phone goes.
Regards.

Thank you. You used the OTA and updated through recovery? Or used SP Flash Tool?

Today I finally find the solution!!! Big Grin When I put the SPTool and the ROM in the root directory of my computer everything went ok!! I update the phone to 20170630 with SPTool and then via wireless update to 20170714. Again, many thanks for your help and patience and maybe you can tell other people you are helping this tip!

Regards, Hennie.
