hi guys how do i install the gapps from the .zip i downloaded?
do i just extract the zip and go to system/app to install the apk one by one?
in what seq shd i install them?
1. Make sure you're properly rooted and have a custom recovery installed
2. Copy gapps in .zip format to SD
3. Boot into recovery
4. Select install from SD
5. Navigate to the gapps .zip on your SD and select

it started smoothly then it says Installation aborted....
i've rooted with PDANet tool
how do i get a custom recovery installed?
i guess mine's still default recovery, that's why it's not working?
i tried to adb sideload the zip file u gave as well for gapps for jb "gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip"
but it says invalid OTA package and something was missing can't recall what....
seems like i really need to get a custom recovery as a 1st step....
can u share the link to where i can read about that? thanks
What phone do you have? If it's a popular phone, the recovery likely already exists.
If it's a generic clone, it's best that you make your own.
