Successfully rooted mirror S3 with the following details

BRAND: ALPS
MODEL: GT-I9300
GPU: QUAD CORE
OS: ANDROID 4.2.2
CPU: ARMv7(VFPv3,NEON)
BASEBAND: MAUI.11AMP.W12.22.SP.V14,2013/02/20 15:09
KERNEL: 3.0.13 lxq@server0-br#1 Fri Mar 22 16:15:43 CST 2013
BUILT NO.: ALPS.ICS.2MP.V1.18

Now I want a new ROM and need help which ROM for it. I just want all to be in English including the icons which are all linked to Chinese sites. I cannot read them.

Please help! Thanks!

Good to know that you already rooted your Alps GT-19300. I have the same phone but mine is jb version 4.1.1 and until now no luck rooting it.. what method of rooting did you use?
