Tough stuff: Spider silk enhanced with graphene-based materials

Natural spider silk has excellent mechanical properties. Researchers have now found a way to boost the strength of spider's silk using graphene-based materials, paving the way for a novel class of high-performance bionic composites.

Honestly if you ever find yourself in the position when you get up in the morning and go to lab enhancing spiders, maybe you can stop doing what you are doing. To be honest I didn't really like what they did to spiders because most of them died but the results are sure fascinating. Enhancing natural materials with nano-particles seems like very interesting way to go. It never fails to amaze me what else you can do with graphene. Its really amazing material. If you are interested I have found an interesting page recently.
