I got my hands on a china no1 p7 and tried to change the firmware but ended up with it stuck at the boot screen.

I can get into the menu with the flashing abilities but i have tried using the Roms on here but it fails. Can someone help?

Thanks in advance

Glen
Before tried to use other firmware, have you made backup ROM recovery?
no i didn't make a ROM recovery as when i first started i didn't have a clue on android but now i run many rooted devices i just cant get this to work
Are you familiar to use SP Flash tools? If yes, I'll upload my original ROM from factory for No.1 P7, using SP Flash tools, high risk to hard brick your phone if you do wrong operation. If you dare to take this responsibility with your own risk, just let me know, I'll upload my Original firmware from factory. Thumbs Up
I'll guide you step by step, remember with your own risk Big Grin

If you could put up a step by step guide and the rom that would be great.Big Grin

Ok here is link download for the No.1 P7 firmware: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

Let's start how to fix your tabphone problem:
- Please download SP Tools here: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
- Download Driver for NO.1 P7 here: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

Guide:
- Extract NO1P7.rar, and also SP Tools
- Install Driver MTK for your NO.1 P7
- Run SP Tools, click "Scatter-loading" choose MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt then click "Format", then choose Auto Format Nand Flash --> Format Whole Flash, then click OK.

- Plug USB cable to your device (Off position), then windows will ask driver for your device, and automatically detected (because drive had been installed already).
- Your Device will run Format automatically, wait till finish.
- back to main menu of SP Tools, then click "Download", if the device won't start to download, just unplug usb cable, then plug it again to your device.
- Download will running, just wait till finish (OK), then unplug USB cable, try to test your device ON.

Good Luck Thumbs Up
Have nice try Happy

it seems that your device show boot logo, it means, your device hasn't turn it off totally. no needs to press any button, just turn it off totally and let it be rest around 15 minutes (because your device hasn't turn it off totally), then follow my guide above.

Note: you can't see anything information on your device if using SP Tools (just black like as turn it off)

Good luck
