Hi..
My first post to this forum so here goes.
I have been the owner of a Hero 7500+ for the past 4 months and have been generally very impressed with this phone (especially as far as bang for buck goes!).

BUT - There are a couple of issues and I wonder if anyone has experienced similar and has some ideas/fixes.
1. Sound level - this phone has VERY low sound volume and, even when I use engineer mode, I can't seem to improve it very much if at all. Would a firmware upgrade (if there is one) help here?
2. Bluetooth streaming audio - this seems to work on a very much "hit and miss" basis. When it doesn't work, powering down, removing battery and rebooting will fix it but you don't want to try this while driving! Any fixes?
3. Have rooted the phone so can access most of what I need and can run full backups etc with Titanium or similar. This was relatively easy using the guides on this website (Thanks Guys!!)
4. Battery life is generally good but, like most android phones, once you open/use an app, many of them stay active and chew up memory. Any ideas on this one, aside from a "kill all" command.
5. Sounds - every now and then, the Hero seems to decide it doesn't like the ringtones and notification sounds I've set and will reset them all by itself! Anyone have the same experience?

Overall, the phone is good value once you get to know it better. Like most Chinese phones, it has its little idiosyncracies but I can live with them pretty well.

Nucky
Hey Nucky, welcome to the forum.

1. Which firmware are you currently on? I had issues with 4.1, but 4.2 volume levels are fine. The external speaker could be a little louder, but call volume was fine.
2. Haven't messed much with bluetooth. Maybe someone else can help here. Make sure you're on the stock 4.2 firmware.
3. Excellent
4. Apps should 'sleep' when your phone sleeps. When it's awake they should be using minimal juice unless they're in the foreground. Is your phone sleeping properly? How many hours onscreen time are you getting? If 5-8 hours, this is normal.
