Somehow I think the FC's have to do with the themes in this ROM and the (in)compatibility with Xposed/AppSettings. I changed DPI on android.settings AND on mediatek.themes, and when I change the theme/colour the DPI on the screen changes (gets larger) and I get FC's on clicking 'apps'.

So I rolled back to my Xperia ROM again. Such a shame, because I would have preferred this one.

not too sure why yours has FC
for me , it is ok

i have also tried to transplant the AROMA installation rom, and i did suceed, the installation is in tourch mode, u can choose the launcher during installation, it is transplant from Iocean
It might be a combination of using AppSettings, an Xposed module, the themes in this ROM and the number of apps I have installed. Don't know and it takes too much time to find out what causes it for now. Don't have any problems with the Xperia ROM, while the number of apps is the same.

Wow, I'm very interested in Aroma, as I can't restore my backups with CWM.

Aroma installation is good for advance installer , because u have a lot of option to choose, but i don't think it help to restore, i think TWRP recovery might help.
i still can't find any TWRP recovery for inew, but i had my ZOPO ZP990 installed with TWRP.
i hope i will try to get TWRP soon.

iu u want to experiance the aroma installation, i will up load it soon, n let u know
Thanks, Steven! Somehow I thought Aroma and TWRP were one and the same... but yeah, I think I would need TWRP then. Keep me posted!

just curious

how do u restore yr rom, if something go wrong with the new installation.

u said u cannot restore the data, does it mean that u cannot restore the whole system also.

or u just restore the system only with the CWM,then the data app by Titanium backup

if I upload the new rom (aroma installation), after u try it, then u want to restore the system, that means it must be a lot of work n time spending. Because I did not really go into the rom to check if every thing is working.

I have never come to this stage so far, the data app is more than 3 gb
most likely u must have install a lot of high end games
I backed up my device using CWM (complete NAND). When restoring I booted into CWM, went to 'restore' and tried to restore the latest backup. This gives me 'error restoring data', the system restores fine.
Later I installed a new ROM (using CWM), then tried to restore just data backup with CWM. This gave me the same error. Same problem when using MTK Droid Tools and SP Flash tool for restoring backup.

So all I can do is install ROM using CWM and put back my Titanium Backup. That works well, but I always need to adjust some settings after that (select ringtones, sync contacts/calendra, Wifi data, etc.). Not a big deal, but just about half an hour of extra work ;-).

I don't have any high end games installed, LOL! But I like to try a lot; navigation systems, lots of GoLauncher themes, different cameras, a few big office apps (PS Touch, Polaris), etc. etc. Of course I could delete the ones that I don't use much, but rather don't do that, I have the space on my phone, so why delete them :-).
CWM 6 should be able to deal with big files, unlike CWM 5 (so I understand from several posts on XDA). So if you would be willing and able to convert CWM6 to MTK iNew that would be great (I put the links for that elsewhere on this forum).

I know trying Aroma will take a lot of time, and I don't have time for that right now, but somewhere next week should be possible. I don't mind, it's a hobby you know :-)

BTW, I tried making CWM6 for iNew myself using auto-port CWM MTK, but I can't get it to work.
actually , u can try recovery from star U650

i had tested it, it can be use on our inew6000
it is version 6.0.3.6.

but i cant understand that why the speed is much slower than my 5.5.0.4

that is why i did not use it.
Oh, thanks! I'm going to try.

Yayyy! Installed CWM6 successfully. Making a backup now, let's hope restoring will work from now on. Can't test it yet, but I will let you know. Thanks again! Big Grin
Oh, it doesn't make my phone slower. Backing up seems to take a bit longer, but that's not a problem for me, as long as the backup can be restored ;)
