Would anyone point me in the right direction with regards to obtaining a copy of the stock firmware please? I just can't seem to find one at all.
Alternatively, some idea as to how i can pull the boot.img from this tablet would be greatly appreciated.

I own this tablet and was able to download the stock firmware from a Chinese forum. Having a backup, I unlocked the bootloader and flashed a rooted rom (also obtained from that site). I'm not sure if the original links are still available, so here's a mirror link:

You'll find all the necessary tools and files (including boot.img) inside the rar, but the instructions are in Chinese. Let me know if you need help translating them.
Hi MMWolverine, many thanks for this stuff! I looked so hard for it, because I need to reinstall the stock rom on my Cube iPlay 10 (booting takes minutes and then I always get "app persmission management is running" and "system process not responding", even after factory reset.) Are you kidding or are you really able and willing to translate this Chinese stuff? This would be so great! Many thanks in advance!

I was able to successfully install it using SP Flash Tool. However you need to ensure you rename the Chinese folders to English or else the Scatter File wont load properly.
Unfortunately this rom still has the three Adups Fota viruses. No worries though. I managed to get rid of them by following this tutorial in order to root the device:

Then I installed a 'System App Remover' from the playstore and that managed to remove them perfectly (Titanium backup did not do a good job.)
Malware Bytes shows the tablet is now clean!
