Is there a particular ROM that anybody has tried which is an improvement over the stock version in terms of stability and fluidity?

I"m using the Xperia ROM, as you can see in my post my favourite ;) : also it's 4.2.2.

I would have used this one, as it seems near perfect:

but I got fc's when clicking 'settings -> apps'; but don't that you put you off, I've 3,5 gigs of apps installed and I restored them using Titanium Backup which probably gives problems on certain apps. Other people are satisfied with this ROM and I'm planning to try it again one day with a clean install.
