im trying to root my galaxy grand duos clone GT-1908 (MT6575) but when clicking the root button, it says

--- ERROR : SU inaccessible ....

my phone information ;

Hardware ; MT6575
model ; GT-I908
Build number ; ALPS.GB2.MP.V2.21
Buid date UTC ; 20130903-034914
Android v ; 2.3.6
Baseband v ; MAUI.11AMD.W11.50.SP.V30.P2. 2013/04/23 16:21
Kernel v ; 2.6.35.7(steven@steven-pc)(gcc version 4.4.3(GCC) ) #1 Tue Sep 3 11:45:55 CST 2013
Uboot build v ; -----should be root shell
LCD Driver IC; -----should be root shell

IMEI 1 ; xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
IMEI 2 ; xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx


what should i do? Thanks ! im glad if someone can help me to solve this...
btw, its my first clone handphone and im also trying to custom rom it ...
it is possible to change it ????
and how about the android version? any way to upgrade it?

Its not a good idea to share your IMEI numbers.

Good call. I edited out the IMEI numbers from these posts. I also removed the screenshot attachment since it contained the IMEIs as well. Looking out for the security of our community is probably a good thing, right?
