You are the best!! Thank you!!

A tip from me yet

before you do this you should change your language on English / United States!
for me, it was on German and I could not start the gravity box!

I think I've found an simple trick.

After doing a hard reset or install a new rom:
- Start up the phone without sim
- Disable automatic update date
- Reboot your phone by entering the sim.

from this moment on, the problem of updating the date no longer occurs even if rehabilitated automatic update.

This trick only works if you do not enable "use network provided time zone". As soon as this switch is turned on, the Settings App crashes, again.

The app I do not cresh more.
Unfortunately I have to say that disabling the automatic date&time settings is not a stable solution.

At the beginning of January I spent few days trying to overcome the problem without rooting the phone and I discovered that solution. After a reset to factory, before inserting the sim, it is possible to enter the date-time page and disable automatic adjustments from the network and from time band in roaming .
After I did it was ok and I did not try any more .
Unfortunately today the problem is reappered . I can not enter the menu any more Crying
Two weeks ago I went abroad in roaming and this probably triggered again the problem. It is just an hipotesys because I did not try rigth before leaving my country and right after returning home.
A difference that I can report is that when I faced the problem the first time the message was something like "....acces denied" while now it says " Unfortunately Settings has stopped" .

Unless there is another way, to regain a stable control of the clock I think I am forced to root the phone .

Is there a way to backup all the applications I already installed or do I have to reinstall all of them from zero after the rooting procedure ?

There are at least 4 ways (known to me) to deal with date/time crash:
1) Upgrading to a newer firmware
2) Setting time through Android Terminal app (root)
3) Installing Xposed GravityBox module and apply the fix (root)
4) Trick with the SIM card change (explained in another thread)

Which option you choose depends on whether you're root, and whether you feel up to the job. Going from newbie to advanced, I would choose in this direction: 4, 2, 1, 3.

There are many ways, but unless you're not rooted, app data won't be backed up (only APK files). In addition to Titanium Backup, you can also try My Backup Pro app, but I personaly make a complete nandroid backup with CWM, so I'm safe whatever happens.
Excellent
I fixed my time crash
Thanks
