iNew V3 mobile is good in build and features, but its not working in INDIA.
IMEI is not Valid in INDIA, hope iNew will get global approved IMEI No. in next coming batch.

is there any Other way to fix IMEI Issue with the operator. IMEI is fine, its having two distinguished IMEI numbers. The IMEI series is 863000

It doesn't have NULL or corrupted IMEI numbers.

Hello, welcome to the forum.

Here are a couple of tools and information on how to generate a valid one.
First just try looking for one that works on a friend's phone and change the last two digits. Often the network operator doesn't care if the check digit works out. If that doesn't work, here are a couple of tools to help generate a proper one.

You can write the new IMEI with MTK Droid Tools (should be rooted)

or try:

> Engineer mode keypad, *#*#3646633#*#*)
> Connectivity tab
> CDS information
> Radio Information
> Phone 1: at+ egmr = 1,7, "IMEI1"
> Phone 2: at+ egmr = 1,10, "IMEI2"
The engineer mode works for changing the imei
Bit of a cheeky suggestion but Often if you look on eBay for faulty iPhone motherboards they list imei number on there.
I can't suggest you borrow one from there but if you did it probably would never be an issue unless you traveled to the country the phone is from.
Just remember that I don't condone this.

Hi Dear

I also bought this phone and am based in INDIA. Initially this phone worked and I was able to make calls but within 30 min I lost network and none of the carrier SIMs worked for me. Then I tried changing IMEI and I used one the very old phone IMEI number that I had using Engineering mode(Noted on this forum) and now phone is up and running fine with any SIMs. So I guess some Chinese IMEI numbers are banned in India.

Regards

Hi Rajan... I'm also from INDIA & I bought this INew v3 mobile from 1949deal site. It has reached to India on 15-Jan-14 by singapore post & after that I'm not able to track it in any site(Including Indiapost site).
Pls. tell me how you received this mobile & tell me detaily how to track it after it has reached to INDIA by singapore post
1. Did u pay any customs in India? If yes what is the amount?
2. Is your parcel was sent thru Singapore post & then thru India post?
3. Who delivered your phone finally?
3. How long it will take to deliver once the phone reaches India
4. Do u have any contact nos of customs, so that I can track myphone where it is.

Pls. help me with the above questions as I'm worried & I'm not able to track it for the past 9 days.
If you purchased it through PayPal and the phone was under PayPal Buyer Protection, be sure to open a PayPal case within 45 calendar days. That way you have at least a basis for asking a full refund. In the worst case scenario, you will only loose your time and some nerves, but at least you'll have your money back.
Venkatesh
Apologies for late reply. [snip] By UPS I did not pay duty. I guess 1949deal also you need not pay duty as they declare value very low. Check on [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
Hi,
Hope you would have recieved your phone till, or money refund through Pay Pal. ordered through 1949deal.com and aked them to send through DHL and they took 2100rs as custom. during cutom clearance they lost one of my battery and after then they declared it as lost and post that no any update from them.
It was not working as such IMEI problem. Went in gray market got a very old dual sim phone for 500Rs and used that IMEI number. so no more trouble any more
