Hi, I'm another new user desperate for any kind of help. 

I've got a No-name Chinese phone brand that I'm struggling to even break the surface of. All I want to do is install a damned custom ROM!

I've gone through multiple guides, in which Two things stopped me from proceeding.

1. Fastboot OEM Unlock/device-info never loaded, and only shows "..."
   
2. Trying to backup and recover on MTKdroidtools always ends up with me getting the errors "No KernelGZ" & "No Split Boot Image"
   

I've tried TWRP, and it was only too big/unsuccessful, as it clearly hadn't had a version for my phone.
I cannot Boot and recovery my boot.img on mtkdroid as I don't "have" a Kernelgz/SBI.

So please.. for all that can be done? HELP!

I CAN SUPPLY ANY INFO AT ALL TO HELP MAKE THIS WORK!

Also, I really just want to install [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]. If there's anything that can be done, please.

Scatter also gives me an error (Bhrom 5007)
