Every mtk based phone's motherboard there is a "service spot".
(just need to recognise it)

If the phone hardbircked...The PC cant recognise, no charge, no anything...Just plug on USB to PC, short the "service spot", and the PC will recoginse and you can flash rom with SPFlashTools.

I did it many times on my Inew i2000

Hello, can you tell me how did you do that? I tried to reflash my I2000 with an older rom, it's stock rom has Android 4.2.2, and I didn't find it, so I tried to put an older rom. After tens and tens of attempts, I succeeded to flash it until green circle appeared, usually it stopped at red line. then when I turned it on it was completely dead, it bearely appear in device manager as Com port 20 without battery and MTK and something with battery. I even tried with service spot but no success. It stais at the red line or sometimes it gives all sort of errors. Can you help me please? Do you have the stock rom with android 4.2.2? Do you have a picture with the service spot to check if it is the same I know? I lost a few days trying all sort of methods.
Thank you.

Now I've seen your picture, yes this picture I've used too and I used that spot, but no success. Any other ideas?
Thank you.
I have not tried it but you will find a thread somewhere by googling, click on the first in the list after searching for
android test point

that thread will show you can also try the battery terminal if you can't find the test point
allegedly the battery negative connection on your phone.

naturally you have battery removed
YMMV
