I'm kinda new to this forum and a newb with this flashing rooting my android phone stuff.

So here is my problem:
Because i'm lost in this big forum i would need some help finding out the steps on how to root my V3. I've searched for a few hours and couldn't even find a tutorial on how to make a full backup off my phone....
I would also like to install the custom kitkat rom from Geekgirl...

For rooting, follow the steps in the Gizbeat 101 in the root forum. vroot normally works for iNew v3. For backup, follow the backup tutorial in the same forum.

If you're using GeekGirl's firmware, it should be pre-rooted. You also don't need to worry much about a backup because there is already stock firmware available for your phone. I do recommend you backup your NVRAM though. Also in the stickies from the link above.
