Hello as the Subject states, what is the best way to go back from Kitkat rom to Ulitimate i want to try ulitimate because of mismatch of internal SD and Ex-Sd after i made a nandroid backup in TWRP.
Hello Johnny, sorry someone didn't get back to you sooner.

The best way to do this is to flash Ultimate with SP Flash Tools and then factory reset from recovery.

Though I'm not sure it will solve your issue.

TWRP is a certain type of recovery. Are you doing this through the TWRP app from Play, or through recovery mode. If recovery mode, are you sure you have TWRP? If so, please share it.
Hello Gizbeat,
No problem, glad you answered.

In the KitKat tread a mentioned TWRP that was not correct I ment touch cmw that was included in KitKat rom, after I had this strange thing I mentioned in the KitKat tread I thought go back to ultimate based in 1.0.3 with 3.5 GB data.
I did it like you mentioned above I had to do it twice because the first time there was a problem with, if I remember it correct, back in cmw do factory reset something was not mounted then I did a reset for preflash and flash again.
I rebooted in cmw and did a factory reset and booted the phone all went well but I could not find a way to use Google play always error 403 I tried every possible way to correct this I could find on the internet but nothing helped, after some time I had go in bed and because it's my wife's phone I restored the nandroid of KitKat I also had to do this twice because it think the other way of internal partitioning as far as I then noticed all was ok except for the strange thing I mentioned before of course.
But yesterday I was connecting my wife's phone to another Wi-Fi network and the connect button stayed outgrayed so I could not connect and I made I decision tho go back to stock 1.0.3 with root and touch cmw it took also two times off flashing but it's up and running complete stock rooted and touch cmw but there are two things I noticed and as long as I use android never see before, first internal and external SD are switched like in KitKat as I mentioned in the tread and second the connect button in the Wi-Fi module stayed outgrayed until I type the last character, how can the system now how much characters it will be??

But it's my wife's phone it's up and running so I leave it now.
I'm not sure what all your issues are regarding having to flash twice and reverse storage. This is the first I've heard of that issue. It should be single flash, then factory reset data. Internal Storage should be 3.5GB and Phone Storage should be 10GB or so. You can also manually do this by 'wiping data' and 'wiping cache'.

Regarding Wi-Fi being grayed out, it's possible that during your flashing you flashed over or erased over a portion of NVRAM which contains much of the radio data.

Do you have an NVRAM backup from before this problem? Either from the full backup tutorial or from NVRAM backup tutorial?

Ok that twice flashing helped me what was wrong i don't now.

I have a nvram backup but i made it after i installed KitKat can i somehow find out if it is a good one?

Are all the Inew V3 backups from nvram the same so i can use it from an other phone?

But I maybe don't need it, I look stupid but i never realized that you have to put minimal 8 characters (because all my passwords are more than that) for a WPA/WPA2 password before the button will be shown.

I think I will try it again and install your Ultimate 3.5 GB V1.0.3 but after that normally my external SD should be external SD or not I don't under stand why I have this, in the past 4 years i have been around with Android and custom Roms but mostly Samsung Devices and never had that problem.
Don't worry man. You don't look stupid. That is what the forum is for. For learning and passing on knowledge.

So if your WiFi is okay, then don't worry about NVRAM.

Yes, you can use NVRAM from another iNew V3. The problem is that normally it also contains IMEI, so people are reluctant to share it.

Thank you Thumbs Up

I was planning to get me the Black one if its present to order, so I can get one thats foreshore good, is it possible to change IMEI in the NVRAM backup?
The black one should be available soon. I can inquire about it monday with 1949deal. I may purchase a black one as well as my personal phone.

I'm sure there must be a way to change IMEI in NVRAM, but I've never had to do it. You can flash NVRAM and then rewrite IMEI with MTK Droid Tools or Mobile Uncle. But if your WiFi is working now, don't concern yourself....unless you're extremely bored. Fu Man
