Enable USB Debugging - Settings > Developers Option > USB Debugging > Tick to Enable.

If you don't see developer's options - Settings > About Phone > Tap build number multiple times. This will make developer options appear in settings

Run the downloaded .exe

Connect your phone to PC via USB cable

Next I need to make my IMEI work. Any help on this? I'm always getting "comm port doesn't exist, or Can't sync with phone" when using MTK SN Station tool though I have installed all required drivers. I'm trying on Windows 7 64bit machine. I also have Windows XP with SP3 running on Virtual box . Please help !

I tried to root my Umi C1 but AVG didn't like the tool i downloaded from the link above..



Anyone else have this problem? Is this a false positive or ???
