I have this Thailand based phone and it was re-branded, the international name of the phone is IQX(A) and it's an MT6589 device quad-core 1.2ghz.

I was flashing it with custom recovery.img (not specific for my phone) using uncletool, when i turned on my phone the Baseband Version is Unknown.

The sim cards i put wont detect what so ever, and the IMEI wont display.

i haven't done any back-up of my phone..

what can i do to restore my phone's Baseband Version? please help.

Have you tried flashing a new ROM on your device, that could solve it...

needrom.com has many different ROM's to choose from, then look at the flash guides in here and follow them.

Also there are many guides in here, regarding how to change your modem.img in your phone. That could also solve your problem...

i haven't tried flashing it with another ROM. but i found the international brand ROM for my phone and the problem is i read some forums that flashing it with other ROM won't solve the problem.

about the modem.img file. is it really reliable? i don't want to mess it up again.
