NOTE: For anyone having an issue with the above drivers, please use these [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]. They're now including the MTK6589 ADB. Excellent find by Kuroyume.

Known Possible Issues
1. Battery icon will look fragged if charging while the phone is off
2. To power back on after powering off from within Android, hit Vol+Power until you see the first logo, then let go. Reboot and boot into recovery from within Android works no problem at all.
3. No deep sleep
4. Compass not working

This isn't permanent. I installed a stock ROM just to test and make sure. It's likely due to the LK.BIN / UBOOT which solves problems with booting into recovery and the boot animation, but causes these two minor issues.

Guys, I put a ton of time into this one. At least 6 or 7 hours testing, flashing, reflashing, reading the ROM twice over and a crap load in between. But I love it. Enjoy.
Thanks Gizbeat, great work Smiling

After reboot my battery jumps from 100% to 37%!
Must boot into recovery and wipe battery stats. That should solve the problem!
Hmm.. I didn't experience anything like that. Could be the battery was really at 37 and previously was incorrect. Hard to say. Anyways I'll be sticking with this Wind LeWa for awhile.
Battery really was full charged, i disconnected from charger at this moment ;)

You didn't mention it had been charging for an extended period of time. That seems like a critical piece of information, doesn't it. Did you wipe dalvik, wipe cache and factory reset before booting? How long had it been charging for?

There's a bigger issue that's come up. My phone isn't deep sleeping with this ROM. Yours?
I did all Wipes! Battery was charging all night.

Yes, no deep sleep! That`s a big issue Sad

Amazingly, it only used 1.2% per hour while not deep sleeping. Often 4.1.2 while deep sleeping used about the same as this.

I just tested the Russian LeWa as well and it's the same.

Back to the drawing board. It's a damn shame MX56/Zopo/Hero couldn't get their 4.2.1 right. Everything smooth with LeWa, but no deep sleep is a problem.

Maybe this is an issue Wind can fix. I looked at betterbatterystats and there were no registered kernel wakelocks, so not sure what it could be.
It's nice ROM but it has more problem

This Lewa Rom isn't supported by the compass.
Well therefore deleted it from the rom.

Kamillo,

What about deep sleep? For me the ROM was fine except for deep sleep. I had no battery issues as Chris reported and I have no use for the compass.

People are reporting deep sleep working no problem for them with LeWa port. What was your experience?
I just tried it,and I feel the lag sometimes as other 4.2 roms .
I done back soon to the 4.2 wind.
