The compass is not working on my Feitang H9503. The spec says it has one, downloaded "Z-DeviceTest" and that shows the Compas Icon X'ed out. Would like to have this working as I put up satellite dishes for a job, so knowing which direction stuff helps. Would like advice please as to if this is fixable? TIA

If the icon is X, it means it doesn't have a compass or the drivers are not installed, or it's defective. There's nothing you can do except try a different firmware if you can find one, but it's highly unlikely to work unless you see some firmware that says 'Feiteng H9503 compass fixed' in the change log.
