I am looking at a chinese note 3 clone to be used in india..pl help me narrow my choices and suggest a reliable phone and a seller..

am a first time android smartphone user to upgrade from my nokia N5800Shhh

my budget around $300 including shipping..

specifications looking at...

1 octacore 6592
2 screen size 5.5-5.8-6
3 screen resolution FHD
4 storage 2GB RAM/32 GB ROM with SD card slot
5 Dual sim
6 rear 13MP camera front 5/8/13mp

expectations
1 good battery life..removable type
2 able to root easily..
3 trouble free experience (both phone quality and the seller !)
(hope it will last at least a couple of years)
5 Good GPS
6 NFC not a must ( am not sure if it would be useful)

have tired to research online and looked at the Goophone N3+ FHD,H9008, Mlais mx69T pro(with and without the T!!)...n thl t200 now and am thoroughlly confused both about the phone and where to buy from..

so please come out with your experience with these/other phones & give ur suggestions about which phone and seller i should choose...

all ur help is welcome and all r thanked in advance!
OK I have narrowed choice between h9008 versus thl T200.
Both have 32gb,NFC, identical features.

Difference larger screen thl200t is 6 inc, corning glass, around 290$ but only 2400 may battery.couldn't find any rviews
H9008 is $328 3000mah battery but issues with battery well known n 5.7 inch screen.
Not sure if h9008 is corning glass?
So which should I buy out of these 2?
Pl help.....
MKH, you should be able to find H9008 for significantly cheaper than that.

Assuming all goes well, will have THL W200C unboxing up tomorrow. That is $250 ballpark phone.

As far as a shop, I recommend our sponsors.
Hi there

I like you am using the N5800 Big Grin Pretty solid phone but so out of date.

I decided on the N3+ phone

I haven't received it yet so can't review but waiting impatiently!

thanks gizbeat..

it seems there are 3 versions of the H9008 onsale at present...
1 2gb/16/gb android 42 no NFC for $285 at chinabuye and 1964 and merimobiles 2 2gb/32gb android 4,2 nonfc at androidz art $295
3 2gb/32gb with NFC for $328 at merimobiles (exactly the mx69tpro! but original mx69tpro is same price for 16GB!! no 32GB mode so far..at merimobiles)

surprisingly all the models on sale of H9008 are not showing 1900 3G...only 850/2100/??

my questions..
1 what about the goophone n3+ FHD 32GB but no NFC...available for around $309 at dhgate....is it better or worse or same as h9008. any reviews for goophone n3 fhd?
2 does NFC means can charge the mobile Qi? whats the advantage of NFC?
3 if i buy a smartphone without 1900 will it work in the USA (while travelling) meaning will 2G and voice work and only 3G not work..or the phone will not work at all? am asking because am going to use in 2100 zone but might travel to 1900 zone...

gizbeat i meant the 6 inch thl T 200..(not thl T 200 C or W200).. i could not see the thlt200 anywhere for less than319 -30$ discount=290..whats ur take on the T200 and any reviews/unboxing for it around the corner?its released december 2013..

am going to order after waiting for one more week..so that i shall know about the battery issues of the h9008 getting solved...and also thl t 200 reviews..and also cofee girls review..

cofeegir u ordered the star N3? can u share the link from where u ordered?
i purchased my nokia in 2009Smileand its going to be 5 years now...and still going strong..great mobile...am looking for a smart phone that will last atleast last for 3 yrs and not planning to change so fast..so kept my budget around $300 and seeing FHD 32GB n NFC.

and we have the upcoming hiillive hi6 32Gb with 2ghz 6592 processor for 1730 Yuan says gizchina! its getting tougher and tougher to choose a phone!!!!!
hi mkh, i am not Gizbeat, but i will answer anyways.... ;)
ad 2) NFC = near field communication, it enables you to read nfc enabled cards, tags and so on, also you can use it to pay for stuff if the shop supports it. can also be used to transfer data between 2 nfc enabled phones (or anything really). Wireless charging has nothing to do with it.
ad 3) that very much depends on the carrier in US, while most chinese phones support all gsm bands you need to check. 3g may work depending on the carrier as well (but to be safe you would need a phone that supports WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100)

i wont comment on 1) or the choices in the clone area, as i do not like clones. there are enough chinese companies that do not clone 1:1 and in my opinion your better off there. (and you mentioned THL yourself which is a good quality brand)

offtopic:
the nokia phones were amazing quality, they just keep going. i practically never bought anything else before i needed dual sim - that led me to Samsung (D880 dual sim dual active). and then came the smartphones. unfortunately Nokia "missed the train" and has near no market impact anymore.
