i recently picked up a note 3 clone running 4.3. Im trying to connect it to telus in canada.

It will connect on a 2g or local rogers signal but not on a 3g signal, it finds the carrier under select carrier but when i try to connect it comes back with a try again later error.

is this something that i could correct by changing the rom ?

can u share which model and link from where u purchased it?

most chinese phones come with 3G 850/2100 so if ur area is 1900 then 3G wont work. so check ur service provider band for 3G and also ur phone band to see...

I checked the imei number on my local carrier web site and it came back saying the phone should work.

the place has bought it has told me i will need a 3g sim card? is that even a real thing.
