I'm new here.
Have the phone and I think I bricked it.
It is totally dead (power-vol up/down does not work), no sign of life and connecting it to my pc results in abs. nothing.

My first question is:
I downloaded the firmware and the drivers
I see three dirs of drivers:
- Flashtool NTK driver.rar
- MTK6589+PdaNET_ADB_VCOM_Drivers.rar
- PDAnet_4150.rar

I understand that upgrading has often to do with the correct drivers, I'm lost here.
Do I have to insytall all three? In what rang?
Tried one and will nog install becouase I have W7 64 bit....

Good explenation above of the upgrade firmware with pictures. If someone can make a similar explenation about the drivers?

Install the driver.... I see three dirs.... can imagine that a lot op people having troubles to upgrade the inew V3......

Hope that after installing teh proper driver in a proper way my phone will come to life.

Regarding drivers, they will all more or less do the same job. Some have better luck with one set than another set. PDAnet are good to try first. That or the auto driver pack.
