sorry, my english isn´t that good.

I´m useing now firmware V1.0.8. The gps is working, but the first fix takes a long time.
While useing the version 1.0.3, I think is has been quicker.

What about useing the file android\data\misc\mtkgps.dat from the v1.0.3?
Is it different? Somebody can upload this file, I don´t want to flash back to v1.0.3 for extracting this file.

You can just delete this file with a root browser (if you're rooted). Turn off GPS from settings, reboot, open engineer mode, restart gps from settings then and run ygps etc, (explained elsewhere on this forum). The mtkgps.dat file will be recreated after you reboot.

That is a known bug of 1.0.8 on many phones. You can try the rom 1.0.8. with gps fix from the needrom or from the forum. This resulted me working but really poor gps.
For me gps only works with older firmware like 1.0.7. or 1.0.5..

Somebody flashed v1.0.9 already?
What ab out this Rom?
