pls
my jiayu G3 displays some funny colors (at random) and whenever this happens, the
phone stops working and no button works, even to shut down is impossible
unless battery is removed. sometimes the phone works just fine, but you could be in the middle of a call and the funny colors appear, the phone freezes instantly. Pls I will appreciate any helpful information
This sounds definitely hardware. RAM or possibly GPU. You can try a factory reset, if that doesn't fix it, it's not something you'll be able to fix without a tech pro..Unless you replace mainboard. You may be able to replace whole mainboard from someone who has broken LCD for example and is selling for parts or order mainboard from China.

Thanks for your helpful reply. I'm really scared because theres no Jiayu technician in my country. I can say I'm the only person using Jiayu here. I never heard about jiayu until I saw it on aliexpress where I bought it from. I've taken this to a phone repairer here and he suggested I buy a new screen for replacement ( even the screen can not be found here). I'm afraid I just have to start saving up to buy a new phone but I'll never go for an unknown brand like jiayu again.
Jiayu is one of the more popular China brands. You could buy 3 Jiayu G3 for the price of one Samsung. That's the risk we take when purchasing something from overseas. Great prices - but we don't get the same support as being able to go up the street to your local retailer.

You don't need to have a Jiayu technician to fix the phone, but yes you would need the proper parts.

I doubt it is the LCD.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I guess it will cost much to send it back to china from nigeria. any idea or contacts of jiayu service center in china please?
Wow. Nigeria. Would love to see some pictures if you have time to post them and if your phone stays in service long enough to take some pics.

Yes, it can be frustrating. But that's the chance we take when we want to try to save money. If it's still under the warranty, you can try the shop you bought it from. Is it still under the warranty?
pictures of what if I may ask? Yes it is still under warranty but the seller isnt responding to my mails. If you have any jiayu repair contacts just give me. I don't mind paying for the repair.
We will see if we can do anything. I will get back to you within the next couple days. But you might want to consider a new phone. After shipping to and from and paying for the repair, and waiting... I'm not sure if it's worth it. Is it G3 or G3S?

Pictures of anything you think is interesting... @wuddawaste took a picture of a cheeseburger Doh

Hey now! Don't be hating, @NexusTrix . It's not a cheeseburger. There's no cheese on it. Tongue
