I'm not that much of a android hacker so I wont be able to customize the rom or anything but I am really curious about it.

Do you have the kernel source for your Phone? and know what needs to be compiled into kernel for kitkat? if so you could build a CM11 port of kitkat, for your phone.

Consider that Doogee DG2014 is running Android 4.2.9. let's wait and get the phone in your hands and tested for KitKat functionality before we call it.

i have my Lenovo S939 running in 4.4.2.
so far not so bad. but the camera can not focus on short distance item
so have to go back to 4.2.2
