Hello.
I am on ROM 1.0.1 Feb 25 kernel (i.e. inew 1.0.1, not cxq 1.0.1).
All the normal battery issues you all know (jump from 88 to 100%, quick discharge to 88% etc.). I am also using original battery.
But recently my phone started to behave oddly: when I charge (whether through wall charger or usb cable), the phone will suddenly finish very quickly when I know it's not full. Then if I shut down and restart (even without removing battery), it will show accurate % and then charge normally. This is problematic because when the phone "thinks" it's charged it stops charging (well, at least the red LED goes off).

I have not made any recent changes to my phone which could be directly responsible for this weird malfunction. It has been rooted and with gravitybox installed for weeks.

See the screenshot to understand what I mean:

I suggest you to try recalibrating battery. There are some apps on play store which will do everything for you.
It happened to me 1-2 times at the past 3-4 months.
The same here...
it occur to me too..
super fast charging,

from 20-30% to 100% in less than 5 minutes..
It happened To me too.
It's not fully charged. If you check the voltage of the battery with gsam you will see it's below 4.
The soloution is to use the phone till it runs out of the battery And then charging it when the phone is switched off.
After doing this it gets back to normal.
Hi...I'm using 1.0.8 rom...is this v3 working fine...I've seen the battery is the big issue.Any suggestion?
Just charged with a power bank, from 30% to 100% in 10 minutes: after the reboot I still don't have the real value!
You need to take out the battery. Not only reboot.

Man! I wish I'd known this before. I've just been trying to run down the battery as fast as possible then re-charge it again. Thanks for the tip!
