Bought this out of curiosity, messed up the back up step, so I only have the scratch file, thought I ID'ed the right rom, was wrong, the closest I can get to working, appears to work, but with a corrupt screen display (random lines). That rom is the Star W450+
It's a 5.5 inch phone with a MT6582 (identified by the MTK Tools) - fake MT6592. Probably 540p screen.
Candy bar, very square design, mine has HGL MM808 printed on the battery. As far as I know this same phone I've seen on Tao Bao under eMOTO E9000, HGH MM808, YAS SW68, and some other 'brands', one of them being 艾酷 which translates as 'Ai cool'.
I'd like to get some sort of working rom, I'm thinking of getting another just to back up properly so I can restore it, and then sell them, but that'll take more waiting time which is really annoying.
Hoping someone can shed some light.
