HI,

I am new to rooting, just got a China HXTONG brand octo core MTK6595.
Was wondering if anyone can advise me how to get rid of all those pseky Chinese based games etc... and get onto Google Play Store?

How do I do this? I have already watched some youtube videos and downloaded the relevant USB driver and SP Flash files. Did not proceed with next step as I could not find any MTK6595 custom rom to flash.

Appreciate any advise.

How to remove Pre-Installed Bloatware:

Cliffs Notes Version:
- Run MTK Droid Tools
- Go to the Root/Recovery/Backup Tab
- Choose "Remove China"

I also personally am a fan of Titantium Backup for freezing/uninstalling system apps.
