This serves no purpose other than to indicate that a non-custom recovery may or does lack a number of options.
I re-installed the official recovery via mobileuncle to bring you these images.
For this recovery.....there is NO option to install zip
and NO option to go back
hand held cam so apologies for quality of images
First boot up shows an error icon

We can see a better quality image is

I then had to press the power button to get to the menu screen, which is hard to read but says at top......Android system recovery

and zooming in a bit further.....you may be able to see the missing install zip option
