No can't help with GPS but I just realized that your post 8 image 4 has an error

Before you ask for a refund .....you need to ensure that you su (to root ) before doing the id command
that image you posted.....tricked me.....grins

you ran it as a local user.......

Try again.....you must run it as

su
id

no need to do screenshots as I can see you are very adept at them. As long as you understand what I am saying?

Yes I did ( i guess) . But with adbd insecure on and off. the system remains RO.
ok well that app is now useless so un-install it and it should refund you.

2) Assumes you have removed the adbd insecure app for following:

Now I know you have solved your rooted question page one
but I wonder if we can revisit it.

Did you try putting Framaroot onto your SD card
Going into system settings --> Security --> and allowing unknown source
go into file manager....does not need to be a root manager
click into sd card then click on apk file
....it should then install with a prompt

run it....try last option and reboot
test Android id command....if fail

try next exploit reboot phone.....and so on

The reason I suggest this....you do not appear to have true root.
Its not the end of world but it depends on what you need root for.

3) Have you got a custom recovery phone onto this phone?

If you have I can offer another method of getting a different su onto your phone

now that I have had a sleep can I suggest the following

GPS, please start a new thread as this subject is a root subject.

2) I wonder with your Windows adb commands whether you knew to start windows terminal in admin mode?
Also the correct way to start adb.....is to assume it was not cleanly killed last time so you try this in Windows

Code:
adb kill-server
adb start-server
adb devices -l

the first 2 lines refresh the adb server or service or executable
the last line must show your device

3) Eventually I hope you have lots of backups but here at CPA we suggest you have
-- a NVRAM backup.....Windows tutorial exists
--a full backup of your phone.....various Windows tutorials exist
-------If you have CWM/CTR/TWRP installed or other custom recoveries....a backup of your system is very handy

b) I also suggest you have a backup of your current recovery on the top level of your sd card -renamed in lowercase so it reads
recovery-stock.img........assuming you have no custom recovery
recovery-.img.....replace with cwm, ctr, twrp etc for whatever you now have
c) I suggest you copy all of your backups to your PC and up to cloud mode such as a file sharing site like dropbox.

d) install mobileuncle and a root file manager
e) use mobileuncle to backup your IMEI and yes it goes to cloud storage as well
f) copy using root file manager
/proc/dumchar_info to SD card.....rename it on sd card as dumchar.txt
copy that to cloud mode

I have more to say on that later

good luck

Smiling Smiling I don't know what exactly sparked the root access but It's rooted and works!

If anyone can reproduce this in a correct order. please feel free to share.
Hi, Can you use mtk droid tools and make a complete backup?
Your method to root doesn't work for me, I think flashing your backup or just bootloader should unlock everyone's bootloader.

It's rooted now, thank you very much, your method got me part way the other guys method got me full root on the other forum you posted on.
Hi, I also bough Leagoo Lead1. I would like to ask did you get the GPS to work?

Also could someone do a tutorial of how to root this? I am a newbie when it comes to android/rooting. I cant really understand half of the text what you are saying. Smiling

I do understand its guite a job to do it but would be much appreciated.
teemust, as mentioned above, post a separate thread for the GPS issue.

See this for rooting FAQ and suggestions: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]
try if it works for you.

tkitts, yes you can. Refer to this tutorial: [Only registered and activated users can see links Click here to register]

Also, you might want to share with teemust how you managed to root your phone.
Teemust already has the info needed to root the phone, teemust is posting in the forum on another site that has root, recovery, everything he/she needs is in that thread.
Im getting stuck with the kingo root, Rooting failed... maybe its the sony unlocker (have to kill fastboot.exe to finish)
