Hello everyone ,

The last couple of days i am having the following problem . My iNew V3 was working perfectly , untill all of a sudden all the applications started crashing and then the phone froze . I couldnt do anything to unfreeze it so i took off the battery . After that the phone was dead , no led when powered on the cable , no boot no nothing . I tried all the possible button combinations to get it to recovery mode but nothing . At some point after some hours when i plugged it onto the computer , it came to life so i boot it up and after around 20 minutes the same happens , everything crashed and then it froze .
Anyways this happened a couple more times and i managed to back up my contacts and stuff . Now the phone even after i leave it alone for many hours it wont boot up even if i plug it again on the comp . I tried to flash it with flashtools but it doesnt do anything it stays at 0% .

Any thoughts?

Did you install PC drivers before the flash process? Try again and use this picture instructions:

I tried this method step by step , but at the point where i have to do the firmware update it gets stuck .

Actually at thta point i plug in my phone and the pc makes the plug in sound , after some seconds it does the other sound as if you have unplugged the device . I tried that with 2 different cables and still the same .

When i get the plug in sound in the device manager there is a ALCATEL Single RNDIS Interface #2 device under Network adapters .

Any thoughts ?
Edit1: after i uninstalled all my usb devices from the pc and restarted it i got this one from SP Tools .

If you have a second PC USB port, try it over and try to sp flash tool v3.1344
I always use it and never have a problem,maybe help.

I tried all 4 usb ports of my pc , and tried with 3.1344 but still the same error .

install pda net then restart the PC and try again

EDIT: you have to try several times .. do not give up if the first attempt fails

Still the same . i am trying to do it repeatedly some times i get the error above , some other times i dont get any error the SP tools bar stays at 0% and the buttons become active like nothing happened . I will try this on another computer .

Really looking forward to your efforts, but I'm sorry because it can not solve the problem. I use Windows 7 and only write exactly as I am 50 times flash for several months without problems. Uninstall all drivers and try again, but the only thing I did not mention that you need to "flash tool" to right click and run as administrator. You are doing so? Perhaps this is a problem in the process of flashing. I hope that will fix it.

ok i tried again the last couple of days . I am on windows 7 32bit and i am running the tool as administrator . Still the same error . A friend of mine says that its a common problems for generally chinese phone companies to use warn up or bad quality flash memory and that it dies within a few months of usage .
Anyway i contacted the store that i bought the phone from its still in warranty . I sent them a video of the phone not working and they asked me to send it back to them so taht they will repair it .

My question now , is it worth it ? i mean i will spend more than 60$ in shipping costs , is it worth it or should i just buy a new phone ?
