I won't link to the product but if you google
You will find the cable termed factory cable is designed for Motorola and related products.
There are 2 products
1) $10 adapter microusb female/male
2) $25 cable microusb male to PC USB male
PLUS delivery by mail....no door to door courier shipping
I attempted to use it for my own evil purposes and so far its a fail.

Plug in the microusb bits first then connect the male USB to PC.
The reason for that is the adapter or cable has power from pin 1 to pin 4
On supported devices, the Android will then give you "download mode" AKA factory mode.
Not to be confused with factory reset menu.

Tests on iOcean and M-Horse follow ....summary fail
Assumes you have adapter or cable connected to powered PC
1) remove battery for both devices....supposed to find device obtains power
no button pushing (so far) gives any power to device.
2) power up device with battery
---use adb to reboot into bootloader
remove battery
a) iocean fails....that is....instant depower of device
b) M-Horse remains powered....WOO HOO but no option in bootloader or any other button pushing (so far) gives me a menu for download mode.

So for supported devices, you should get a menu that allows you to go into download mode.....bypassing normal security.
Allegedly flash want you want.
