Hi!

I'm looking for a china phone with the following specs:

• Max. 4.5" screen (I have small hands.)
  
• 1.2 or 1.3 Ghz Quad Core processor (MTK6582, I think)
  
• Preferably Android 4.4 Kitkat, but min. 4.1
  
• Root available for it
  
• GSM and 3G should work in Europe, so GSM 900/1800, UMTS 900/2100
  
• Min. 1 GB RAM
  
• Around 100 USD
  

I'm thinking of the Doogee DG450, or the Star W450.
Any reviews?

Hm. I thought I'd replied to this earlier. I guess perhaps I forgot.

If it were me, I'd go with the Doogee over the Star. Both are fine brands. I have owned a Star, but personally it seems that Doogee is more up-and-coming.

I may be wrong (it won't be the first time) but you may want to double-check those frequencies... they are full quad band GSM, but only support 850/2100 beyond that.
