Some of London's disused red telephone boxes are being transformed into solar-powered mobile charging stations.

Impressive that they don't struggle with shading in the city - lots of interfering objects. Especially since phone boxes are much shorter than other structures.

Its a shame they haven't found a blue police box though...

Probably if they found a blue one they wouldn't even need to worry about batteries anymore. They would just go get phones that would run off microfusion. :|
