So I was trying to use MTK Droid tools to install a CWM recovery on my new Chuwi VX3 tablet.
I flashed using SP Flash Tool and got an error, and now its bricked. I have a stock ROM and am trying to reflash.
The strange thing is when I plug it in, it is recognised straight away in Device Manager as "MediaTek DA USB VCOM Port" - but no version of SP Flash tool will recognise this port to start downloading the ROM.
Any suggestions on how to get this dam thing to recognise the port and connect to SP Flash tool would be appreciated!
I should add - SP Flash tools just isn't recognising anything - not even getting to the red stage!
