Full Version: S5 clone problem (screen)
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
I recently bought my first clone (S5, tested it first while it was still on)

After I did a reset at home, the screen stayed blank/lit up but didn't go any further (screenshot added here)

I'm adding more screenshots for info:

Any solutions for this problem? Or more info needed?
Do you have any information on what your phone might actually be as far as the real brand name and the phone's actual model number?
Unfortunately not, can I find it anywhere in the settings or something?

I can still hear everything working, like facebook notifications etc.
When you say that you "did a reset at home" what do you mean?

Did you reboot the phone?
Did you do a factory reset from the Android settings?
Did you try to re-flash the phone?

If the phone boots but there is no display and you haven't messed with the software, you may want to take off the back and see if you can find where the connector to the screen attaches. Apply pressure to make sure contact is solid.
It was just a factory reset

Didn't find the connector yet, compared to the real s5, there's no removable lid at the regular location.

I'll look further into it tomorrow (it's getting late here)

Thanks for the suggestions, i'll keep this thread updated
