As California finally experiences the arrival of a rain-bearing Pineapple Express this week, two climate scientists have shown that the drought of 2012-2014 has been the worst in 1,200 years.

California is a really dry place. I have a hunch that it might soon be a permanent dessert because of climate change. Guys in California shouldn't be worried about a 2-year drought because it might soon become permanent.
